In Spain Our organization develops social projects in hosting centers for minors, centers for the sick, soup kitchens or free medical care services. In addition, from Spain we collaborate intensively with several of the international centers that VIS Foundation owns, manages or supports in the poorest countries of the world, particularly in several African countries such as Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, Madagascar, Uganda, Cameroon and Nigeria . Hospitals, schools, orphanages or women's aid centers are some of the sectors in which we help communities to prosper and attend to their most immediate needs for food, education or health care.

In Italy, the country where VIS Foundation was founded, we maintain a huge number of humanitarian aid and social action projects throughout the country. These programs include the maintenance of hosting centers for people in situations of social exclusion, programs for the distribution of food and goods such as furniture or school supplies, medical and psychological care centers, actions to help in emergency situations (such as the terrible earthquake in 2016) and groups of volunteers across the country who are actively involved in our aid projects and programs.

In Bosnia We have developed a plan to help refugees through a local organization with which we distribute food and basic necessities to hundreds of families.

In Polonia we have sent humanitarian aid for refugees from the war in Ukraine to the country.

THESE ARE SOME OF THE PROJECTS WE HAVE IN EUROPE

Solidarity Center "San Giuseppe" (Catania, Italy)

Solidarity center in the Picanello area, in Catania (Sicily), specifically in the parish of San Giuseppe in Ognina. Every week, food is distributed to the neediest families and free counseling is offered in psychological, medical and other professional services.

Center for minors "Stella del Cammino" (Rome, Italy)

Educational Community for minors "Stella del Cammino": it is located on the outskirts of Rome and welcomes minors in a state of social exclusion. Since 2015 we have also supported this center with volunteers thanks to an agreement with the European University of Rome.

Emmanuel Children's Residence

A hosting center for children and adolescents in which they are provided with complete accommodation, personalized attention, help for their studies, and everything necessary so that they can develop their childhood with the normality to which every child has the right.

AIDS care centers

Our groups of volunteers collaborate in the care and accompaniment of AIDS patients, usually from environments of social abandonment or drug addiction.

Refugee Assistance Program (Ijubuski, Bosnia)

Our foundation supported a humanitarian project in this Balkan country. VIS Foundation sent humanitarian aid, mainly in the form of food and basic necessities, to be distributed among hundreds of poor families and refugees in the Ijubuski Humac area.

"Casa di Tutte le Genti" (Palermo, Italy)

This center welcomes around 50 boys and girls from particularly difficult environments: family conflict, social exclusion or extreme poverty. It offers a playful-educational-training process led by immigrant women that prepares minors to reintegrate into society.
