In Latin America we are present in Brazil, Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Ecuador and Haiti. In these countries we carry out dozens of large-scale projects adapted to the specific needs of each country, directly helping more than 4,000 families. Our work covers sectors as varied as the management of schools in marginalized areas where thousands of children study, medical centers for social assistance, shelters for orphaned or abandoned children and humanitarian emergency campaigns such as the 2016 earthquake in Ecuador.

SOME OF OUR PROJECTS IN LATIN AMERICA

"Street Children" Program (Mexico City)

Professional training program for children and young people so that little by little they abandon the street way of life and reach an expectation of the future with dignity and better opportunities for development.

Colegio "Mao Amiga" (Sao Paolo, Brazil)

Located in Itapecerica, one of the most needy favelas in the city, the institution has more than 600 students from 0 to 15 years old.

Mano Amiga School (San Salvador, El Salvador)

We offer school and various educational projects to 400 children and young people from one of the most marginalized and disadvantaged areas of the country. We also manage the “Nuestra Señora de Lourdes” center that offers basic medical and pharmaceutical services to the poorest in the area.

Casa Hogar "Casa de Pan" (San José, Costa Rica)

Located on the outskirts of the country's capital, this family home offers accommodation, food, studies and medical care to almost 50 orphaned children and young people.

Colegio Mano Amiga (Guatemala City, Guatemala)

From the outskirts of the capital, this center welcomes more than 200 boys and girls. In addition to ensuring the education of children, it also offers counseling and humanitarian support to their families.

Humanitarian Aid Ecuador Earthquake of 2016

Following the earthquake that struck the country in 2016, VIS Foundation participated in a home reconstruction program for families who had lost their homes in the earthquake.
