In many of the countries in which we work, girls and adolescents have a particularly precarious situation, as their families often do not send them to school or stop taking them to school to engage them in domestic works. Through our sponsorship programs and our scholarships, every year thousands of girls continue their school and university studies thanks to VIS Foundation.
Furthermore, in different parts of the world we maintain centers to help women, particularly in places where women suffer special violence due to domestic abuse, sexual exploitation, discrimination and abandonment. In our centers, women receive care, medical attention, education and financial and psychological help to be able to rebuild their lives.
